Kathakal and Kavithakal is a compilation of classic Malayalam poems, novels, and stories. It offers a curated selection of literary works designed to enhance the mobile reading experience for Malayalam enthusiasts. The app provides offline access to all its contents, allowing users to enjoy their favorite pieces at their convenience.

With support for pinch and zoom functionalities, readers can easily adjust font sizes and optimize content display on their screens. Sharing excerpts or complete poems is made simple through a long-press feature. Additionally, the app offers a full-screen reading mode that can be toggled on or off in the settings menu.

The Malayalam kavithakal section showcases renowned poets' works, including Akkitham Achuthan Namboothiri, O. N. V. Kurup, Kunjunni Mash, Kumaran Ashan, Changampuzha Krishna Pillai, Balamani Amma, Kamala Suraiyya, Vyloppilli Sreedhara Menon, Ulloor S. Parameswara Iyer, and Vallathol Narayana Menon.

Furthermore, the Malayalam novel segment features three prominent novels: "Indulekha" by Chandu Menon, "Sarada" by Chandu Menon, and "Kundalatha" by Appu Nedungadi. In the Malayalam cherukatha section, works by authors Moorkkoth Kumaran and Vengayil Kunchiraman Nayanar are highlighted.

A new addition to the app includes a section dedicated to Malayalam Proverbs (Pazhanchollukal) featuring over 2000 proverbs and a collection of Malayalam Riddles (Kadangathakal).
